The Fulton Hornets won for the second time in three games Tuesday, defeating the Moberly Spartans 10-5 at Darrell Davis Field.
The Hornets scored multiple runs in three innings, plating a pair in the first, five in the second and three in the fourth.
The Spartans cut into the Hornets' 7-0 lead with two runs in the third and three in the fourth.
Fulton's Ryan Newman threw a complete game, allowing four hits and striking out five.
Josh Dunmire had two hits and two RBI for Fulton, which improved to 5-12 overall and 3-6 in the North Central Missouri Conference.
Braedon Hunt led Moberly (4-11, 0-6) with two hits and three RBI.
Fulton will play Thursday at Hallsville.
