Prep Track: New Bloomfield girls 4th, South Callaway 6th in Show-Me Conference meet

WESTPHALIA - The New Bloomfield girls placed fourth while South Callaway finished sixth Tuesday in the Show-Me Conference meet at Fatima.

Aislin Jennings won a conference title for the Lady Wildcats by running the 300-meter hurdles in 52.18 seconds.

In the pole vault, Brooke Talbot cleared 8 feet to place second for New Bloomfield.

New Bloomfield's Mikaela Lemelin collected a pair of third-place finishes in the 1,600-meter run (6:03.46) and the 3,200 (13:17.77).

South Callaway's Grace Pontius won the conference title in the javelin with a toss of 90-0.

Raegan Brown placed second in the 100 (13.47) and 200 (27.83), while Paige Clubb was second in the 400 (1:06.51).

Fatima claimed the team title with 208 points, 90 ahead of Russellville. Eugene was third at 112, New Bloomfield fourth at 83, Linn fifth at 74 and South Callaway sixth at 72 in the nine-team event.

South Callaway is back in action today at Wright City.

New Bloomfield will compete today in the Westran Relays.
