Girls soccer: Fulton 2, Marshall 0

A pair of first-half goals Monday propelled the Fulton Lady Hornets to a 2-0 win against the Marshall Lady Owls in North Central Missouri Conference play.

Fulton scored first in the third minute on a goal by KeAsia Galbreath, assisted by Raquel Lozano.

The Lady Hornets added an insurance goal from Lozano in the 32nd minute. Lexi Henley was credited with the assist.

Grace Ousley recorded the shutout in net for Fulton, finishing with three saves.

Fulton (4-4, 1-1 NCMC) will play four games this week. Next up for the Lady Hornets is another conference matchup at 5 p.m. today at Moberly.

In Monday's JV game, Fulton won 2-0. Axelle Lannou and Emily Boyd scored goals for the Lady Hornets (2-1-1), while Galbreath and Brooke Narancich each had an assist.
