Crum takes sixth for North Callaway at Russellville Invite

EUGENE - North Callaway, South Callaway and New Bloomfield finished in the top-10 at Wednesday's Russellville Invitational at Redfield Golf Course.

Thomas Crum shot an 81 to end up sixth to lead the Thunderbirds, who placed seventh out of 13 teams with a score of 426.

Tucker Wright shot a 110 to finish 37th, Reed Shryock tied for 40th with a 112 and Grant Bell was 53rd with a 123.

Lane Powers carded a 106 to tie for 33rd for the Bulldogs, who shot a team score of 442 to finish ninth.

Raife Evans shot a 108 to tie for 35th, Brandon Brewer tied for 40th with a 112 and Dalton Campbell was 45th with a 116.

For New Bloomfield, Joe Fuhriman tied for 26th with a 102 as the Wildcats tied for 10th with a 444.

Breycin Dysart tied for 28th with a 104, Keaton Herron shot a 117 to tie for 46th and Cade Custard took 52nd with a 121.

The California Pintos won the tournament by shooting a 316.

Hallsville's Logan Cox took top individual honors by shooting a 75.

North Callaway will host M.M.A. and Southern Boone today.

New Bloomfield will head to Moberly today for a triangular against Marceline and the host Moberly Spartans.

South Callaway is off until next Wednesday when it plays in the Versailles Invitational.
