ASHLAND - Outside hitter Brooklyn Maddox recorded three kills and seven service aces in the Lady Hornets' 25-22 and 25-19 loss to the Lady Eagles on Tuesday night.
Outside hitter Gabby Nielson chipped in with two kills and two digs for FMS (1-3), while setter Emily Elias had one kill, three digs and five assists. Libero Justice Vardeman contributed five digs and two aces.
The Lady Hornets (0-6-3) dropped the "B" match 25-15, 21-25 and 15-11. Outside hitter Jewel Knipe finished with one kill and two aces, while middle blocker Brooke Czeschin and defensive specialist Kirsten Harris provided five aces apiece.
FMS plays at Russellville on Thursday night.
