CALIFORNIA - The Lady Hornets slipped to 1-1 on the season after a 25-22, 25-22 loss to the Lady Pintos on Tuesday night.
Setter Emily Elias guided Fulton Middle School with four aces, four assists, five digs and one kill. Middle blocker Cheyenne Studer chipped in with two kills, while opposite Gabby Nielsen and outside hitter Stella Van Schenkoff supplied eight and six service aces, respectively.
The Lady Hornets' "B" team dropped to 0-2 after a 25-7, 25-6 loss to California.
