Boys basketball: Harrisburg 67, New Bloomfield 21

NEW BLOOMFIELD - Senior guard Breycin Dysart finished with a team-high seven points in the New Bloomfield Wildcats' 67-21 season-opening loss Saturday afternoon to the Harrisburg Bulldogs.

Senior forward Tanner Payne collected eight rebounds to guide New Bloomfield.

"The score and how I feel do not match," first-year Wildcats head coach Zach Buscher said. "We have a lot to learn, but they work so hard and I'm proud of that."

New Bloomfield dropped the junior varsity game 63-17. Nathan Fuhriman scored a team-high eight points.

The Wildcats host Calvary Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
