KINGDOM CITY - Senior infielder Mikayla Pennell recently was a first-team choice for the Ladybirds on the all-Eastern Missouri Conference softball team.
Senior pitcher Hayley Kimbley was selected to the second team for North Callaway, which finished 6-3 in the EMO.
Pennell was also picked on the Class 2, all-District 3 first team, while Kimbley and senior catcher Haley Garrett were second-team choices. The Ladybirds were edged by New Bloomfield 4-3 in eight innings in the quarterfinals.
North Callaway completed its season with a 7-11 record.
