High school cross country: Five Fulton runners log all-NCMC honors

Senior Kayanna Gaines topped five Fulton runners to earn all-conference acclaim at the North Central Missouri Conference cross country championships hosted by the Hornets and Lady Hornets on Oct. 17.

Gaines secured the NCMC girls' individual title with a time of 20 minutes, 57.18 seconds.

Receiving all-NCMC status on the boys' side for Fulton were junior Shaun Wolfe, third in 18:04.96; junior Alexander Noel, seventh in 18:45.22; senior Issac Avery, ninth in 18:51.73, and sophomore Carter Meyerhoff, 11th in 18:59.53.

The Hornets finished second as a team.
