KINGDOM CITY — Senior guard Gabe Cash connected for 15 points in the Thunderbirds' Eastern Missouri Conference loss to the Wildcats on Friday night.

North Callaway (3-6, 1-2 EMO) was only down 13-10 after one quarter and trailed 27-19 at halftime. Montgomery County gradually gained separation in the third quarter, outscoring the Thunderbirds 13-4 to open up a 40-23 edge.

Junior guard Cody Cash contributed eight points for North Callaway and junior forward Noah Scrogum collected nine rebounds.

"We lost to a big and very talented team," Thunderbirds head coach Matt Miller said. "We had good (offensive) looks in the first half, we just couldn't get them to go."
