High school boys' basketball: New Haven 74, New Bloomfield 24

NEW BLOOMFIELD - The Wildcats fell behind 26-2 after one quarter in tumbling to 2-9 on the season after Tuesday night's lopsided loss to the Shamrocks.

New Bloomfield went into halftime down 39-10 and New Haven outscored the Wildcats 25-7 in the third quarter to expand its commanding lead to 64-17.

Junior guard Adam Deppe led New Bloomfield with nine points. Senior center Easton Ambler and sophomore guard Trevor Jordan had six points apiece.

The Wildcats host Centralia at 6 p.m. Friday.
