CENTER - The Ladybirds extended their winning streak to four games by outlasting the Lady Tigers in an Eastern Missouri Conference victory Tuesday night.
North Callaway (7-14, 5-4 EMO) jumped out to a 21-6 lead after one quarter and was in front 26-13 at halftime. The Ladybirds preserved the win despite being outscored 26-17 in the second half.
Senior guard Daelyn Schmauch paced North Callaway with 13 points, seven steals, six rebounds and five assists.
Emma Ross topped Mark Twain (9-12, 4-5) with a game-high 18 points.
The Ladybirds end the regular season with an EMO contest at Bowling Green at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
