High school volleyball: Fulton 2, North Callaway 0

KINGDOM CITY - Senior outside hitter Allison Murphy delivered 11 kills to help spur the Lady Hornets to a 25-17, 25-14 triumph over the Ladybirds on Tuesday night.

Junior right-side hitter Chaylee Saunders chipped in with seven aces for Fulton (2-1) and freshman setter Olivia Huff passed out 20 assists.

"We've been working on the individual parts of the game and we're finally putting all of the pieces together," Lady Hornets head coach Tyler Davison said. "It really showed on the court."

Senior middle hitter Bethany Morris topped North Callaway (0-3) with five kills and sophomore middle hitter Hannah Cundiff followed with two. Senior setter Maureen Salisbury provided nine assists.

Fulton (2-1) also prevailed in the junior varsity match 25-23 and 25-22. Freshman outside hitter Quiara Walton posted six kills and sophomore setter Teagan Dailey recorded 10 assists.

Cundiff and freshman Taylor Spears both had two kills for North Callaway.

The Lady Hornets travel to Columbia for a tripleheader at Father Tolton at 5:30 p.m. today. The Ladybirds travel to Hallsville at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
