COLUMBIA - Senior Brooke Whyte qualified for the Class 1 state championships for the second straight year for the Lady Hornets after finishing 10th with a 90 at the Sectional 1 championships Monday at Country Club of Missouri.
New Bloomfield sophomore Sylvia Moss was 39th with a 112 and Fulton sophomore Grace Siegel ended up in a three-way tie for 41st with a 115.
Whyte competes at the Class 1 state championships next Monday and Tuesday at Fremont Hills Golf Course in Nixa.
