ASHLAND — Pitcher Samantha Hedgpath tossed a no-hitter and struck out six in the Lady Hornets' triumph over the Lady Eagles on Monday night.

Hedgpath helped herself by going 1-for-2 with a run batted in and a run scored. First baseman Macie Davis finished 3-for-3 with a double and four RBI for FMS (8-4), while third baseman Reagan Echelmeier was 1-for-2 with an RBI and scored a run.

Right fielder Onyx Kamp went 1-for-2 with a run scored.

Pitcher Natalie Underwood logged nine strikeouts to guide the Lady Hornets (8-3) to an 8-2 win in the seventh-grade game. First baseman Brilee Ash finished 1-for-2 with an RBI and scored two runs, while catcher Layla Underwood was 1-for-3 with a run scored.

FMS ends its season at Versailles at 5 p.m. Thursday.
