MOKANE — The Lady Bulldogs dropped to 8-13 on the season and 1-5 in the Show-Me Conference after the Lady Indians rallied for two runs in the top of the seventh inning Monday night.

Russellville produced two runs in the first, but South Callaway countered with a run in the fifth and two runs in the sixth to go in front 3-2.

Sophomore second baseman Grace Pontius and sophomore center fielder Hailee Potter were both 2-for-3 as the Lady Bulldogs finished with nine hits. Senior left fielder Raeghan Meyer went 2-for-4.

Sophomore pitcher Hannah Mistler took the complete-game loss for South Callaway. Mistler gave up four runs — two earned — on six hits, struck out two and walked one.

The Lady Bulldogs play at Owensville at 4:30 p.m. today.
