CAMDENTON - Fulton junior Kayanna Gaines took fourth in 20:21.39 in the varsity girls Purple Division to lead the Lady Hornets to a sixth-place finish Saturday at the 16th annual Camdenton Laker Invitational.
In the varsity boys Purple Division, Fulton sophomore Shaun Wolfe was 23rd in 17:57.08 as the Hornets finished seventh overall.
Freshman Taylor Hickerson came in 21st in 22:33.58 as the Lady Hornets totalled 143 points. Senior Caitlin Sievert placed 33rd in 23:41.67, freshman Jonna Vanzetti took 47th in 25:32.64 and junior Anna Lowry was 50th in 26:26.39.
Junior Isaac Avery came in 41st in 19:24.99 as the Hornets compiled 199 points. Sophomore Xander Noel followed in 45th in 19:34.58, sophomore Jacob Barnes placed 53rd in 20:08.21 and sophomore Josh Bonnell took 57th in 20:26.11.
Bolivar and Fatima secured the boys and girls team titles with 28 and 45 points, respectively.
Fulton runs in the Hannibal Invitational at 9 a.m. Saturday.
