MEXICO - Fulton junior Aiden Petterson qualified for the Class 1 state tennis singles tournament with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Moberly's Carson Caddell in Sectional 4 play Wednesday at the Missouri Military Academy.
Petterson (17-2) will be making his first trip to the Class 1 state tournament starting Friday, May 24, at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
