The No. 2 seed Hornets won four of the six singles matches to rally past the No. 3 Bears in the Class 1, District 8 semifinals Tuesday night at the high school athletic complex.

Singles winners for Fulton (7-6) were junior Aiden Petterson 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1, junior John Adams 0-6, 6-1, 10-6 at No. 2, senior Garrett Johnson 6-3, 6-2 at No. 3, and junior Trent Dunn 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4.

Petterson and Adams paired up for the Hornets' lone victory in doubles play, an 8-1 triumph at No. 1.

Fulton travels to top-seeded Helias (12-0) in Jefferson City for the District 8 championship at 4 p.m. today.
