Women's Soccer: Blue Jays blanked by Greenville 1-0

Westminster could only manage two shots on goal in 90 minutes in a 1-0 loss Saturday to first SLIAC opponent Greenville.

The Panthers, on the other hand, had 10 shots on goal but only needed one to go through against Megan Davidson.

The first half was scoreless, but that was no longer the case in the 52nd minute when Greenville scored the lone goal of the game.

The Blue Jays (0-3) had a shot on goal in the sixth minute by Savannah Feltrop and in the 67th minute by Rachel Nolte.

Westminster will continue its conference schedule at 8 p.m. today at Fontbonne.
