Westminster women's soccer kicked off its home schedule Saturday with a 3-0 loss to Elmhurst.

The Blue Jays (0-2) totaled only six shots, three on goal.

Despite the lack offense, Westminster was still in the game after Elmhurst couldn't score any first-half goals either.

Elmhurst would end the drought with two goals three minutes apart in the 71st and 74th minutes. Westminster could only manage one more shot by Rachel Nolte before Elmhurst added with its third score in the 88th minute.

Nolte led all Westminster attackers with her four shots and two shots on goal. Goalkeeper Megan Davidson stopped seven shots out of 10 sent her way.

The Blue Jays are set to play at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Webster.
