Lyon would take the first three points of the third set before William Woods would answer with three of its own from three different attackers. The Owls would fall behind 10-7 before a 4-0 run started by a Phillips kill gave William Woods the lead. Riley Alton would cap a 5-1 William Woods run to make it 14-11, and she would also have the third-to-last kill before Kuehl slapped the final two down to win the match.
