Sophomore outside hitter Eryka Wanyonyi logged a match-high 18 kills and the host Lady Blue Jays remained unbeaten with a 25-11, 23-25, 25-13 and 25-17 SLIAC triumph over the Lady Tigers on Wednesday night.
Senior middle blocker Natalie Needy supplied nine kills and sophomore outside hitter Haley Menke finished with eight as Westminster College improved to 5-0 both overall and in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Senior outside hitter Allie Kennebeck topped the Lady Blue Jays with 11 digs. Senior setter Gretchen Durbala added 10 digs and rounded out a double-double with 39 assists.
Iowa Wesleyan University slipped to 1-4 both on the season and in the SLIAC.
Westminster travels to Eureka (Ill.) College for a SLIAC match at 3 p.m. Saturday.
