Men's soccer: Webster beats Westminster 4-1

The Webster Gorloks kept rolling through their schedule Wednesday in a 4-1 win against the Westminster Blue Jays at Blue Jay Field.

Webster got on the board first with an own goal in the 12th minute.

In the 19th minute, Justin Kohler scored on a penalty kick.

Westminster's Bukuru Dieudone found the net in the 37th minute to get the Blue Jays within 2-1 at halftime.

But Jarret Gabriele scored in the 47th minute and Tanner Haugen added a goal in the 88th minute for Webster, which is 8-1-1 overall and 6-1-1 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Chase Vogt made five saves for Westminster (5-3-1, 4-3-1).

After the game, Justin Gerdiman, Sam Heckart, Philip Udinyiwe, Patrick Wisnewski, Jordan Kahrhoff, Joshua Udinyiwe, Aaron Guilliams, Jake Skaggs, Luciano Zarinelli and Vogt were honored for Senior Night.

Westminster will play at 2 p.m. Saturday against Spalding in Louisville, Ky.
