MEDIAPOLIS, Iowa — The Westminster Blue Jays didn't let Iowa Wesleyan get close to the goal many times Wednesday in a 1-0 victory in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play.

The Tigers' first of four shots didn't come until the 48th minute.

Westminster goalie Megan Davidson kept Iowa Wesleyan (2-6, 1-5 SLIAC) off the board with a save in the 53rd minute.

The game didn't stay scoreless for long, as Madi Lenk scored as the clock entered the ninth minute.

Westminster (5-2, 4-2) will host Eureka for a SLIAC contest at 1 p.m. Saturday at Blue Jay Field.
