The William Woods Owls shut out their fourth straight opponent Monday, defeating the Missouri Baptist Spartans 7-0 in dual competition.

In doubles play, Rukshika Wijesooriya and Ana Zavala won 6-3 for the Owls, while Mireia Jordan and Hannah Meyer won 7-5. Ariadna Jordan and Marta Calvo Larraz won by forfeit.

Winning in singles for William Woods were Zavala (6-1, 6-1), Wijesooriya (6-1, 6-0), Calvo Larraz (6-2, 6-3), Mireia Jordan (6-0, 6-0) and Ariadna Jordan (6-0, 6-0). Meyer won by forfeit.

William Woods (10-3), ranked No. 6 in the NAIA, plays Wednesday at No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan.
