MACON, Ga. - The sixth-ranked Lady Owls moved their season record to 2-3 by sweeping the Lady Tigers on Monday.

No. 1 doubles: senior Zlata Shuraeva/junior Ana Zavala (WWU) defeated Brenda Aguilar/Itezel Hernandez (CU), 6-4; No. 2: Madison Hill/Rebeca Scurt (CU) def. freshman Rukshika Wijesooriya/junior Mireia Jordan (WWU), 7-6 (1-0); No. 3: junior Ariadna Jordan/freshman Hannah Meyer (WWU) def. Emily Carbo/Blaeke Mitchell (CU), 6-2.

No. 2 singles: Zavala (WWU) def. Hernandez (CU), 6-0, 6-2; No. 3: Wijesooriya (WWU) def. Scurt (CU), 6-2, 6-4; No. 6: freshman Alessa Cremer (WWU) def. Hill (CU), 6-0, 6-3.

William Woods University's scheduled match at No. 7 Middle Georgia State University was cancelled Tuesday.

The Lady Owls continue their spring break trip with a match at No. 1 Georgia Gwinnett College this morning.
