College volleyball: Kansas Wesleyan 3, William Woods 2

SALINA, Kan. - The William Woods Lady Owls slipped back to the .500 mark at 16-16 overall after a 19-25, 25-15, 25-18, 14-25, 11-15 loss Saturday to the Kansas Wesleyan Lady Coyotes.

Freshman outside hitter Lanie Lowry topped William Woods with 17 kills, followed by junior opposite Kate Doerhoff with 13 and senior opposite Nise Salima with 12.

Junior setter Remie Johnson delivered a double-double with 47 assists and 12 digs for the Lady Owls. Senior libero Kayton Coffee finished with a team-high 15 digs and junior defensive specialist Mallorie Brooks was next with 13.

William Woods returns home for an American Midwest Conference matchup against No. 5 Park at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Anderson Arena.
