PARKVILLE — Sophomore forward McKenzie Gourley tallied two goals to steer the Lady Owls to their third straight American Midwest Conference win over the Lady Pirates on Tuesday night.

Gourley scored in the 34th and 39th minutes as William Woods University improved to 5-7 overall and 4-2 in the AMC. Sophomore defender Brianna Morrow provided the Lady Owls' first goal in the 11th minute.

Park University edged William Woods 8-7 in overall shots, while both teams finished with four shots on goal. The Lady Pirates had a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Freshman goalkeeper Michyla Handley recorded three saves for the Lady Owls.

William Woods travels to Williams Baptist (Ark.) University for an AMC contest at noon Friday.
