SPRINGFIELD - Junior setter Remie Johnson posted a double-double with 20 assists and 10 digs in the Lady Owls' 25-15, 25-17 and 25-13 loss to the Lady Crusaders on Tuesday night.
Freshman outside hitter Lanie Lowry topped William Woods University (12-13) with eight kills and senior opposite Nise Salima chipped in with seven. Senior libero Kayton Coffee and junior defensive specialist Mallorie Brooks paced the Lady Owls with 11 digs apiece.
William Woods returns to American Midwest Conference play at Hannibal-LaGrange University at 7 tonight.
