COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Missouri Tigers hit 11-of-14 free throws in the final 1:30 Tuesday night to hold off the Troy Trojans 76-63 in women's basketball action at Mizzou Arena.

With 4:34 remaining in the fourth quarter, a short jumper by Tiyah Johnson pulled Troy to within a point at 61-60. Missouri answered on the ensuing possession when Hayley Frank hit a 3-pointer to push the Tigers' lead to 64-60.

Missouri then closed the game on a 12-3 run. The 13-point final margin was the biggest lead of the game for the Tigers.

Missouri led 22-17 after one quarter before Troy came back to tie it at 35 at halftime. The Tigers took a 50-46 advantage into the fourth quarter.

Johnson finished with 19 points to lead Troy (3-2), while Felmas Koranga added 14.

Haley Troup and Hayley Frank had 20 points each to pace Missouri. Aijha Blackwell totaled 19 points and 18 rebounds for the Tigers, while Mama Dembele chipped in with 13 points.

Missouri (5-0) is back in action this weekend at the Christmas City Tournament hosted by Lehigh in Bethlehem, Pa. Missouri opens against Columbia on Saturday afternoon, then will play again Sunday. Lehigh and Rider are the other two teams in the event.
