Callaway County deputies log six felony arrests

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office recorded six felony arrests and numerous charges during the weekend.

On Sunday, the Callaway County prosecuting attorney charged Shawn Buck, 21, of New Florence, with the felony offenses of first- and second-degree burglary, tampering with a motor vehicle and stealing. Buck was also charged with a misdemeanor property damage offense. He is in custody at the Callaway County Jail without bond, pending a court bond review.

According to the sheriff's department, the charges followed multiple burglary and stealing offenses Saturday morning in Auxvasse. Two separate residences were burglarized and a vehicle was stolen from a third residence. A followup investigation conducted by deputies identified Buck as the culprit. He was arrested at 3:10 p.m. Saturday and taken to the Callaway County Jail.

Callaway County deputies, the Missouri Highway Patrol and the Holts Summit Police Department conducted an investigation about 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 12000 block of County Road 4039 outside Holts Summit. Deputies recovered felony-level controlled substances from a residence. Deputies subsequently arrested Nicholas Deppe, 20, of Holts Summit.

Deppe was taken to the Callaway County Jail where he was booked/processed for felony possession of a controlled substance. He was later released with summons to appear in court.

Deputies located Elizabeth Erbschloe, 36, of Fulton, hiding behind a residence at 1:51 p.m. Saturday in the 8000 block of Robbie's Road, off County Road 428 near Steedman. She had several outstanding Callaway County warrants for charges including felony possession of a controlled substance (two counts), felony tampering with a motor vehicle and resisting arrest. Erbschloe was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail where she remains on no bond as of Monday, pending further court bond review.

Deputies located Norman Goins, 42, of Holts Summit at 11:34 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of Branch Road near Holts Summit. Goins was wanted on a Callaway County warrant for felony possession of a controlled substance (probation violation). He was arrested and transported to the jail, where he is being held on $10,000 cash bond.

Lacy McDonald, 29, of Fulton was located at 3:29 p.m. Friday in the 8000 block of Robbie's Road, off County Road 428 near Steedman. McDonald was wanted for a Callaway County warrant for felony possession of a controlled substance. She was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail, where she later posted a $5,000 bond.

Deputies located Jesse DeValle, 39, of Fulton at 2:12 p.m. Friday in the 5000 block of County Road 311 east of Millersburg. DeValle was wanted on a Callaway County warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. He was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail where he remains in custody on a $1,000 bond.
