Stolen vehicle recovered after arrest

A Fulton woman was arrested for the alleged theft of a motor vehicle Monday, according to the Fulton Police Department.

Fulton police received a report of a stolen vehicle at 11:03 a.m. Shortly afterward, the vehicle was spotted parked in front of a house on Singer Lane. While investigating, with the help of Callaway County Sheriff's Office deputies, officers identified the suspect as Elizabeth Erbschloe, the arrest report stated.

Officer found Erbschloe, 36, hiding in the house's attic and discovered she was in possession of about an ounce of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. She was also under a Callaway County failure-to-appear warrant for first-degree trespassing.

Erbschloe was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and the Callaway County warrant. She was taken to the Callaway County Jail and her bond set at $13,800.
