O'FALLON, Mo. (AP) - A 13-year-old boy who was shot last weekend in O'Fallon has died from his injuries.
O'Fallon police on Thursday identified the boy as Owen Fielder of O'Fallon.
The shooting happened Saturday in the St. Charles County town. A 16-year-old is in custody in the shooting but formal charges have not been filed.
Police say the victim and the shooter were acquainted. No other information was released, including the potential motive for the crime.
