Prayer services remembering more than 60 million aborted children nationwide will be held Saturday at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Holts Summit.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. with a Mass by the Rev. Anthony Viviano, followed by an outdoor memorial service by Tyler Murphy, of Southside Baptist Church, at 11 a.m.

The National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children is a joint project of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, Priests for Life and the Pro-Life Action League; it aims to remember the "more than 60 million unborn victims of abortion" to ensure they're not forgotten.

The day will feature solemn prayer services at gravesites across the country and other memorial sites dedicated in their honor.
