Youth Empowerment Program applications open

The Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) is for people in grades 9-12 to enhance their skills as community leaders.

YEP scholars define and discover the issues affecting their community and work collaboratively to develop possible solutions to address those issues. In addition, the participants get support and access to opportunities to network and collaborate as a civic leader.

As a culmination to the program, the YEP Scholars host a Youth Empowerment Summit to engage their peers and present their findings. The 2022 YEP Cohort starts next month with monthly sessions, one Saturday each month, through August 2022.

Participants receive a $25 gift card each month for actively participating in the sessions and an end of program monetary stipend.
