Heart of Missouri Board of Realtors (HOMBOR) held a meeting Thursday.
Board Members who participated were Don Marking, President and MR Director Rhonda Braun, President Elect and MR Director Betty Jo Sydenstricker, Secretary Dixie Collins, Association Executive George Buckman, Director Kathy Werdehausen, Director and MR Director Ron Oldani and Director Jessica Nilges.
Braun, Nilges and Kathy Richey Liddle were installed via Zoom by John Sebree.
Due to COVID-19, they will not have a board Christmas gathering. But, like they did last year, they will be asking for donations to replace funds raised from the annual silent auction.
The board was presented a copy of an email that will go to brokers/DR's Affiliates and Appraisers to donate money. The funds will be distributed between The Help Center in Mexico, Audrain County Crisis Intervention Center, Our House: Caring For Callaway Homeless and the Callaway Senior Center.
The board will offer a Real Estate Continuing Education class on Feb. 1-2 with Phil Garner at the Elks Lodge. The cost is $70 per person for both days if there are 60 participants. If fewer than 60 participate, it'll cost $90 per person. Early bird cost is $100 including lunch.
Members were informed about changes to the Callaway Sewer District's policies concerning informing sellers after a sewer inspection is conducted and fails. It was suggested to have Kent Wood speak at an upcoming meeting.
The following will serve as directors: Braun will serve as president, Marking will serve as a one-year director and Werdehausen will serve as a two-year director.
