The Fulton Police Department is investigating the death of a 26-year-old Black man whose body had been shot multiple times and located early Monday in a Fulton creek.

The Fulton Police Department reports officers responded at 1:08 a.m to a report of a body located in Stinson Creek between West Seventh Street and Route F. Officers discovered the victim, described as a Black male in his mid-20s, had been shot multiple times.

The victim has been identified as Donald Simmons, 26.

Fulton police are asking anyone who has had contact with or has seen Simmons in the last 72 hours to call 573-592-3107.

Fulton police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man whose body was located early today.

The Fulton Police Department reports officers responded at 1:08 a.m to a report of a body located in Stinson Creek between West Seventh Street and Route F. Officers discovered the victim, described as a Black male in his mid-20s, had been shot multiple times.

The victim has been identified but police are not releasing his name pending notification of next of kin.

Fulton police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call the department at 573-592-3107.
