Fulton Public Schools announced in a news release Friday morning Hogan has been named principal at McIntire for the 2021-22 school year. Hogan has been the assistant principal at Fulton Middle School the last four years.

Hogan attended McIntire as a student from kindergarten through fifth grade and graduated from Fulton High School in 2006. Her father, the late Bob Hogan, was principal at McIntire for 21 years before his retirement in 2008.

Erica Hogan has been with Fulton Public Schools for 10 years, starting as a teacher at Bartley Elementary School. She taught at Bartley for five years before moving to Fulton Middle School to become assistant principal.

Hogan's favorite thing about McIntire as she was growing up was the family culture among staff, students and families. Returning to McIntire as principal is like being "reunited with family and friends."
