The Callaway County Sheriff's Office recently arrested seven individuals on a number of charges from March 15-19, according to a department news release.

At 9:01 p.m. March 19, a CCSO deputy was patrolling the area of County Road 230 and attempted to stop Nathan Henry, 42, of Columbia, for a traffic violation. Henry fled and a lengthy vehicle pursuit ensued on secondary roadways in the Millersburg, Guthrie and New Bloomfield areas.

Henry was stopped when deputies deployed tire deflation devices on Route J near Guthrie. He was a wanted fugitive on a federal U.S. marshal's warrant for probation violation -an original charge of methamphetamine possession - and a Cole County warrant for felony delivery of a controlled substance.

Henry was taken to the Callaway County jail, where he remains in custody without bond.

On March 19, CCSO deputies conducted an investigation in the Holts Summit area and arrested Carl Johnson, 55, of Holts Summit. Johnson was taken to the Callaway County Jail and the Callaway County prosecuting attorney charged him with felony invasion of privacy.

He remains in custody without bond, pending a bond review and setting.

On March 17, CCSO deputies investigated a disturbance involving a weapon in the Auxvasse area and arrested Parker Ellis, 21, of Auxvasse. Ellis was taken to the Callaway County Jail and the Callaway County prosecuting attorney charged him with first-degree felony property damage, resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer.

He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

On March 17, CCSO deputies followed up on an investigation in the Portland, Missouri, area and arrested William Wilson, 44, of Portland, for failing to register as a sex offender, burglary and stealing. He was taken to the Callaway County Jail, booked and processed, and released on a court summons.

At 6:39 a.m. March 16, CCSO deputies executed a Callaway County drug search warrant at a residence in the Fulton area. The warrant had been obtained as the result of an ongoing CCSO drug investigation and methamphetamine was located.

David Young, 47, of Fulton, was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail, where he was charged by the Callaway County prosecuting attorney with felony possession of a controlled substance. Young was later transferred into the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections for state parole violations.

Darrell Sanders, 32, of Fulton, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. Sanders was taken to the Callaway County Jail, booked and processed, and released after posting bond.

At 4:32 p.m. March 15, a CCSO deputy conducted an investigation in the Holts Summit area and located Keith Buschman, 42, of Holts Summit. Buschman was wanted on a Cole County warrant for felony harassment. He was arrested, taken to the Callaway County Jail and released after posting bond.
