Escapee from OK prison recaptured hours later

TAFT, Okla. (AP) - An Oklahoma state prison inmate serving a sentence for escape was recaptured less than five hours after escaping a minimum security prison in eastern Oklahoma on Saturday, according to the Oklahoma State Department of Corrections.

Robert Youngblood, 41, was taken into custody about noon after escaping the Jess Dunn Correctional Center in Taft about 7 a.m., according to a statement from the department.

Youngblood was serving time for a previous escape.

DOC records show Youngblood's previous convictions include for drug possession and distribution, false personation, obstructing an officer and robbery.
