Sheriff's office announces 11 arrests

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office reported 11 arrests between Jan. 10 and Sunday.

Jan. 10

At 2:48 p.m., deputies investigated a disturbance on U.S. 54 near Kingdom City. Jeremiah Widmer, 40, of Princeton, Illinois, was arrested for first-degree stalking, fourth-degree domestic assault and three counts of first-degree endangering a welfare of a child. Widmer was taken to the Callaway County Jail to await bond review.

Jan. 11

At 5:34 a.m., deputies and the Mustang Drug Task Force served a drug-related search warrant at a residence near County Road 1006. Searchers located "various felony-level controlled substances," including methamphetamine, according to the CCSO news release. Deputies arrested two Auxvasse residents for felony possession of a controlled substance: Darrell Cartee, 58, and Harold Smith, 56. Cartee was also arrested for trafficking drugs. Both were later released on bond.

Jan. 15

At 10:40 a.m., deputies investigated recent thefts in the County Road 346 area. Anthony Neal, 40, of Millersburg, was arrested for tampering with a motor vehicle and stealing, and later released after posting bond.

At 1:15 p.m., deputies arrested Samuel Gourley, 39, of Auxvasse, on a Callaway County traffic warrant. Gourley was later released after posting bond.

Jan. 16

A 2:39 p.m., a deputy arrested Monteze Adell, 47, of St. Louis, for driving while intoxicated. The arrest occurred on County Road 328. Adell was later released after posting bond.

At 8:38 p.m., deputies conducted an investigation on Lindbergh Boulevard, discovering heroin in the process. Deputies arrested Sonny McCance, of Columbia, for felony possession of a controlled substance. McCance was later released from the Callaway County Jail on summons.

Jan. 17

At 3:15 a.m., deputies conducting an investigation in the 4000 block of Route J located a "felony-level controlled substance." Brandon Inlow, 34, of Columbia, was arrested or felony possession of a controlled substance and later released on summons.

At 7:36 a.m., deputies conducted an investigation in the 3000 block of Gold Road and discovered methamphetamine. Rickey Prewett, 39, of Jefferson City, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Callaway County Jail and later released on summons.

At 11:20 a.m., deputies followed up on an investigation in the Portland area, arresting Mark Pullum, 57, of Portland. The Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney charged Pullum with first-degree burglary and first-degree assault. Pullum was taken to the Callaway County Jail, and his bond set at $40,000.

At 11:50 p.m., deputies arrested Travis Schroer, 39, of Fulton, in the area of Hilltop Drive, north of Fulton. Schroer was wanted for a felony Missouri Department of Corrections warrant for state parole violations and a Boone County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Schroer was arrested and later transferred to the Department of Corrections' custody.
