A Fulton resident received moderate injuries in a weather-related traffic crash Monday, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

At 9:03 p.m., Trenton Wilson, 18, of Mexico, was driving on Audrain Road 918 east of Audrain Road 929. His vehicle, a 1998 Dodge Ram, lost control on the slush-covered roadway, sliding off the left side of the road and striking a tree.

Wilson, who was wearing a seat belt, was uninjured. His passenger, Maricruz Romo, 19, was not wearing a seat belt and received moderate injuries, according to the Highway Patrol Troop F crash report. Romo was transported by ambulance to SSM Health in Mexico.
