Callaway County Sheriff's Office report rape, drug arrests

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office recently reported eleven arrests over the past week and a half.

The arrests include drug and theft offenses, as well as a rape.

Jan. 4

George Day, 45, of Hallsville, was arrested on Boone and Callaway county warrants. During an investigation in the area of Route J, Day attempted to barricade himself inside a recreational vehicle. Day was taken into custody after deputies forced entry into the vehicle. He is being held at Callaway County Jail pending court bond review.

Jan. 5

Randall Moor, 50, of Fulton, was arrested for burglary and stealing during a follow-up investigation in the Williamsburg area. Moor was taken to the county jail and released with summons for court appearance.

Jan. 6

David Wood, 49, of Holts Summit, was arrested on a Callaway County felony warrant for rape and sodomy. Wood was taken to the county jail where he remains in custody pending bond.

Joseph Atterberry, 43, of Fulton, was arrested near County Road 113 on a Missouri Department of Corrections warrant for state parole violations. At the time of the arrest, deputies also seized methamphetamine. Atterberry was taken to the county jail and later transferred to MDOC custody.

Thursday

Sierra Beasley, 31, of Mexico, was arrested in the area of County Road 139 for felony possession of a controlled substance. She was taken to the county jail and released with summons for court appearance.

Friday

Betty Belisle, 21, of Williamsburg, was arrested on a Callaway County warrant for possession of a controlled substance during an investigation near Route Z. Belisle was taken to the county jail and released after posting bond.

Saturday

David Wright, 48, of Olean, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance after methamphetamine was discovered during a traffic stop near Route HH. Wright was taken to the county jail and remains in custody pending bond.

Sandra Montcalm, 52, of Auxvasse, was arrested on a Callaway County warrant for unlawful possession of an illegal weapon during an investigation in the area of County Road 2002. Montcalm was taken to the county jail and remains in custody pending bond.

Phillip Ward, 45, of Auxvasse, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and stealing related to an Auxvasse case. Ward was arrested during an investigation in the area of County Road 260, during which deputies found methamphetamine. Ward was taken to the county jail and released after posting bond.

Sunday

Thomas Seay, 33, of Fulton, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance during an investigation in the Fulton area. Seay was taken to the county jail and released after posting bond.

Chastidy Hoover, 32, of Auxvasse, was arrested near County Road 271 for stealing a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance. Hoover was taken to Callaway County Jail and released for court appearance.
