A Columbia woman received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident early Thursday morning on Interstate 70 in Callaway County, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol crash report.
The wreck occurred at 12:30 a.m. Thursday near mile marker 154 on I-70. Kali N. Barnes, 27, of Columbia, was traveling westbound in a 2018 Dodge Journey when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the highway.
Barnes overcorrected and the vehicle traveled across the highway and into the median, where it overturned. She was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
Barnes was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. Her vehicle was totaled.
