Two new members will join the New Bloomfield R-3 School District Board of Education when it meets tonight.
Craig Abbott and Doug Glick will both be sworn in, replacing Terri Sweeten and Amy Pendleton.
The newly reorganized board, meeting at 6 p.m. in the board meeting room, will consider roof restoration and parking lot resurfacing bids presented by owner representative Navigate Building Solutions. The roof project would cost $117,482. The parking lot project would cost $91,820.
The board will also hear program evaluations covering food service, agricultural education and business education.
Superintendent Sarah Wisdom will update the board on staff-hiring processes, the district's second vaccine clinic, summer projects and a scrap-tire grant.
The board will also review the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan, last reviewed in January.
The board will discuss extended school dates for students in need of additional instruction in June to help close the achievement gap impacted by the pandemic.
