The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Route PP in Callaway County in various locations over the next two weeks in order to improve drainage along the roadway.

MoDOT will be replacing a total of 11 culvert pipes on Route PP between Missouri 94 and Route BB. Work will take place next Wednesday and Thursday, and then Monday through Wednesday, April 12-14.

The road will be closed in each work area from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. each day.

Message boards will be in place in advance to warn motorists of the closures. Drivers will need to find an alternate route when the road is closed. MoDOT appreciates the patience of travelers when the work takes place.

Work is weather permitting and could be delayed. For more information about this project or other transportation-related matters, please call 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636) or visit www.modot.org/central.

Follow the MoDOT Central Missouri District on Facebook or Twitter for project updates.
