Sheriff's office arrests 11 on numerous charges

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office recently arrested 11 individuals on an assortment of charges from March 22-28, according to a department news release.

At 10:08 a.m. March 28, a CCSO deputy was patrolling the Holts Summit area and spotted Brian Jarvis, 41, of Holts Summit. Jarvis was wanted on a felony Missouri Department of Corrections warrant for state parole violations.

When Jarvis saw the deputy, he fled into a residence. The deputy ultimately located and arrested Jarvis, who was in possession of methamphetamine. He was taken to the Callaway County Jail and transferred into MDOC custody.

At 7:14 p.m. March 26, CCSO deputies conducted an investigation in the area of Route H and arrested Brittany Whittaker, 31, of Fulton. Whittaker was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was taken to the Callaway County Jail.

The Callaway County prosecuting attorney charged Whittaker with felony possession of a controlled substance and she remains in custody pending a bond post. The Fulton Police Department assisted with the investigation.

At 2:21 p.m. March 25, CCSO deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 4012 and located Isaac Snider, 19, of Holts Summit. Snider was wanted on a Cole County warrant for felony possession of a controlled substance.

He was arrested and transferred into the custody of Cole County authorities.

At 2:25 a.m. March 25, CCSO deputies conducted an investigation in the area of Route Z and I-70. CCSO K9 Iro responded to assist and heroin was subsequently located.

Drew Kugman, 39, of Columbia, was arrested for felony delivery of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Callaway County Jail, booked and processed, and released after posting bond.

On March 24, the Callaway County prosecuting attorney charged Nathan MacVittie, 38, of Fulton, with the felony offenses of kidnapping, assault and stealing. MacVittie had been arrested by CCSO deputies March 23 during the course of an ongoing investigation.

MacVittie was taken to the Callaway County Jail, where he remains in custody without bond, pending a bond review and setting. The Jefferson City Police Department assisted with the investigation.

At 11:34 p.m. March 24, a CCSO deputy was patrolling the Mokane area and located Hazel Holtmeyer, 33, of Mokane, near County Road 463. Holtmeyer was wanted on a Boone County warrant for failure to appear on forgery/fraud charges.

She was arrested, taken to the Callaway County Jail and transferred into the custody of Boone County authorities.

At 11:33 p.m. March 24, a CCSO deputy was patrolling the Kingdom City area and conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 149 and Old Highway 40. During the investigation, felony-level controlled substances were located.

Steven Jones, 62, of Kingdom City, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. Jones was taken to the Callaway County Jail, booked and processed, and released on a court summons.

At 6:18 a.m. March 24, CCSO deputies executed a drug search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Walnut Street in Fulton. The search warrant had been obtained as the result of an ongoing CCSO investigation.

Subsequently, methamphetamine, other felony-level controlled substances and marijuana were located. Timothy Canterbury, 33, of Fulton, was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail.

The Callaway County prosecuting attorney charged Canterbury with four counts of felony possession of a controlled substance. He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

The Fulton Police Department and Mustang drug task force assisted with the warrant execution.

At 1:13 p.m. March 23, CCSO deputies conducted an investigation involving weapons in the area of County Road 323. During the course of the investigation, deputies arrested Sydney Ward, 30, of Lee's Summit.

Ward was taken to the Callaway County Jail and charged by the Callaway County prosecuting attorney with felony unlawful use of a weapon. She posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

At 12:18 a.m. March 23, CCSO deputies conducted an investigation in the 5000 block of Jade Road in Kingdom City and located Angelina Wedepohl, 32, of Fulton. Wedepohl was wanted on a Callaway County felony warrant for failure to appear on stealing/fraud charges.

She was arrested, taken to the Callaway County Jail, booked and processed, and released after posting bond.

At 12:39 a.m. March 22, CCSO deputies conducted an investigation in the area of County Road 261 and located Keith Sexton, 40, of Auxvasse. Sexton was wanted on numerous Boone County felony warrants for possession of a controlled substance, stealing, tampering and assault.

He was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail, and then transferred into the custody of Boone County authorities.
