Fall Festival on tap at Governor's Mansion

Gov. Mike Parson and first lady Teresa Parson will hold the third annual Parson Family Fall Festival from 10 a.m.-noon Oct. 3 at the Missouri Governor's Mansion, 100 Madison St. in Jefferson City.

The outdoor event will feature several vendors, children's activities and bluegrass musical entertainment, according to a news release.

Activities will include a straw bale maze and a photo booth, plus local singers Pat Kay and Shakin' Jake, of The Kay Brothers, will perform bluegrass music.

Several vendors are slated to attend, including AgriMissouri, Conservation Federation of Missouri, National Wild Turkey Federation, Elderwood Kettle Corn, Missouri State Parks, Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Missouri Highway Patrol, Special Olympics Missouri, Ozarks Mountain Creamery, and HALs Hoppers.

The event is free and open to the public, and no registration is required.

Masks will be available, and social-distancing guidelines will be followed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
