2 arrested following drug search

Three Fulton residents were arrested Tuesday following a drug raid in Fulton.

At 6:48 a.m., the Fulton Police department along with the Callaway County Sheriff's office assisted the Mustang drug task force in executing a narcotics search warrant at 215 W. 9th St.

Law enforcement located methamphetamine, pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and cash (the amount was not disclosed in the FPD press release). Lexia Lovett, 24, was arrested for the possession of drug paraphernalia. Brian Lakey, 31, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Travis Pitt, 29, was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lovett and Lakey were both issued citations and released. Pitt was transported to the Callaway County Jail and released into their custody to be held without bond, the FPD stated.
